Through its partner IPV, the Altenburg Foundation has for several years enabled the running of a school in Daret Ezza, rural Aleppo, through funding their running costs including teacher / staff salaries, fuel and stationery as well as a programme of classroom rehabilitation. The children (around 900 boys and girls) here would otherwise have had no access to the learning and protection services offered.
